Fun fact: You can email your local representatives office to ask them to expedite it on your behalf. It worked for me last summer!

Since passport is a federal thing, it would be your districts house representative, aka congressman/woman

Thanks for the tip #[2] 🙏. My representative reached out to the DoS yesterday and my application has now moved to “Approved” on the website. They still have to mail it out though. 8 days till my flight and there’s a long weekend coming up 😅😬
