I would spare my fellow Nostriches the disappointment I felt tonight.

Having kind of enjoyed the 2005 Tom Cruise version of War of the Worlds, I was looking forward to watching the 2025 remake tonight on Amazon with the fam.

That shit didn’t play for 5 minutes before I had to turn it off. I’ve never seen such a pro US government, pro alphabet agency, pro surveillance state piece of predictive programming trash in my entire life.

And to make it worse, they convinced Ice Cube, the man who brought us the NWA classic, Fuck The Police in 1988, to take the leading role. Ugh.

My how the mighty have fallen. End rant.

Funny enough I just watched the first movie I've seen in a long time today.

It was the Robin Hood by ridley scott with Russell Crowe- had never seen it.

The message was very different..

Basically live in the woods off the land, look out for the people around you, don't pay taxes, and fuck the king

Films are getting to be almost unwatchable now for the programming within. Maybe it has always been a part of it or maybe we are just waking up to how blatant it is getting but when you are paying so much for a ticket, you don't expect non-stop propaganda for a system that is no longer working for us.
