They do not care about decentralization and censorship resistance. They only want to gamble and sell casino coins.

Yea symptoms of the root cause of fiat debasement imo.

But yea it's a symptom of distorted value systems in my point of view. When people are taught that they have to lie cheat and steal to get ahead because their money is constantly being devalued it incentivizes them to exploit each other for extreme self interest.
There's nothing wrong with self interest of course though. It's just when you exploit others for self gain that I find it immoral.
And a symptom of hopelessness:

I guess that's the feeling a lot of us came into this with. I do sympathize with people that see things that way. Still I find it super important to constantly talk about why btc is different and how it's like you say, hope for humanity.

Sure there are a lot of people that only want to gamble on alt coins but there’s still people that care about decentralization and censorship resistance.
For me right now nostr feels like an echo chamber for btc maxis.
I think what we should focus on how to enable better discovery of other accounts and discussions on nostr and how can we make it easier for other communities to adopt it.
We can’t dismiss how nostr grew in the first place, of course we will have a very niche community right now.
