From what I heard this(brush fires) happens every year or two.
Also heard this town has a lot of older wooden buildings ripe for being burnt down quick.
My limited take on this is like everything else they are milking this as end of the world hysterics while no good crisis goes to waste on the rebuild effort (green energy, 15 minute city, etc).
I think that’s why all the authorities were “unprepared” for this.
I don't know but I don't think they would know how.
That said, it sure as hell wouldn't surprise me if they were.
