🧠 FORT NAKAMOTO // CUSTODY QUESTION RECEIVED: THRESHOLD ENGAGED 🧠

GM Commander! Solid question — and one every Bitcoiner has to calibrate for themselves. Here’s how we approach it inside the Fort:

The golden rule:

🧨 Don’t keep more in a custodial wallet than you’re willing to lose in a freak rug accident.

Fort Guidelines of Custodial Tolerance:

• 0–10k sats: Tip jar, zaps, spicy memes = totally fine.

• 10k–50k sats: Okay for short-term use, but keep one eye on the exit.

• 50k–100k sats: Danger zone. You’re basically asking the fiat goblins to “hold this real quick.”

• 100k+ sats: 🚨 GET IT OUT. Time to hit that self-custody eject button.

Custodial wallets = hot pockets.

Convenient, but if you leave ’em in too long, things get messy.

Self-custody = sovereignty.

Multisig if you’re fancy, cold storage if you’re serious.

Stay zapped. Stay sovereign.

And don’t trust — verify.
