A friend gave me this BITCOIN recently

Let me share a few thoughts on Bitcoin being marketed as coins...

A little over a year ago, I was having a conversation with an older guy who thought that Bitcoin was mined from the ground

Sounds insane but I understand why he would think that

There's WAY too much marketing around Bitcoin that includes a COIN

I think we should do our best to stop this. It makes no sense. Bitcoin is a lot of things but it is not physical

It's very confusing.

I also believe that the "COIN" in Bitcoin actually stands for something unlike the coins that we know and use

Counter Insurgency - a tool designed strictly to destroy the fiat system and the centralized entities around the world

I could be wrong about that

But Bitcoin is not a physical coin and should not be marketed as such

Happy Monday 🫡

You're so right about the confusion among newbies.

I made sure to address this in my upcoming children's book, complete with a kid-friendly glossary.

It's a children's book, but I had parents in mind when writing it. My hope is a BTC uncle gifts it to his niece and nephew and gently orange-pills his sister and brother-in-law. ;)
