Twitter has long solved the issue of seeing less content without muting or unfollowing people by “show me less” but we don’t have such things. I’ve said it a million times I have nothing against anyone here, I’m just trying to limit what I see so I can see more of other stuff I do want to see. That doesn’t mean I don’t want to see ANY posts from that person, but there’s no way to distinguish content filtering here without mute words. I use Damus regularly on mobile and there’s no mute word or list here but this is a feature on Snort which I use extensively.

If some social graph thing is doing something by limiting your reach based on mutes, sorry. I will do what you’d like but this is an issue to take up with those developers. As a user I shouldn’t have to think about how my personal curation actions are going to impact others.
