These things are a nightmare. They lay flat on their back with the prongs up in the air so if you accidentally step on one barefoot you will experience a completely new kind of pain, not to mention the UK and Europe have twice the voltage as US power outlets so if you’re fiddling around trying to remove one from a socket positioned behind a piece of furniture and accidentally touch the lead you’re going to get a nasty shock.
