U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio is set to host Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski at the Department of State in Washington D.C. tomorrow. Poland, which is seen as an Eastern European bastion against further Russian aggression, recently forswore the deployment of Polish forces inside Ukraine before a snap European defense summit this week in Paris. While Polish decision-makers have said that they have received assurances from the U.S. that the U.S. force posture will not change, alongside future Polish actions as they relate to Ukraine, it could still be brought up during the meeting of the two nations’ top diplomats.
