It’s been about 20 years since college, I have to present a case study via PowerPoint. I’ve forgotten all the rules!! Whats a general rule for # or points on a slide?

i dont remember there were any rules tbh

grab an example slideshow next to it and work off from that maybe?

There’s no rule. Just think about your audience, their attention span and your topic and use your judgment.

Don’t read your slides during the presentation. Let your slides add more value to your lecture.

Thanks brother! I really appreciate the advice and help! BTW, make sure you set up your lightning wallet so I can #zap you for putting in some work!

My LN address disappeared from my profile.

Added it back.

Thanks

Some slide/presentation tips

📺 Make it fun to watch.

🌁 Enhance what you are verbally saying through visuals.

🤏 Very little amount of words.

🥱 No list of bullet points.

Touch-turn-talk 🤪

Get chat got to design the base, then modify to meet all your needs

It really depends on the standards of your audience. Some want it to be like a book so they can print it out and read it. (Weird, I know.)

If there's no "read-ahead" requirement, minimize words. Hide any narrative in the notes section. Use pictures that illustrate your points. Shoot for 3 seconds a slide. Keep your sentences at 15 words or less. Use active voice only. Knock em dead!
