The real trick is hiding/obfuscation the complicated part and making transactions as easy as tapping a card/handing over cash.

This is up to devs to implement and I believe we will eventually get there.

Scanning lighting invoices makes it really close.... custodial wallets like Coinos that use lightning are really the closest we can get to this.

Eventually, custodial wallets offered by a legitimate bank with FDIC insurance guarantees and lightning implementation will bring a bunch of normies over.

*I'm not advocating for this, just seems logical.

I agree, something that could happen too is that some open source company makes a card that links to your Lightning wallet and interfaces with the Square POS and Square’s Lightning integration is copied and rolled out by all payment processors but a lot has to go right for all of that.

For now, I will survive using Bitrefill and orange pilling local business owners.
