i'm quite surprised to be saying this but i strongly recommend all #golang devs to switch up to 1.23+

not necessarily to update the go.mod or whatever but the workspace feature is extremely useful, as is the automatic management of old versions for packages that have older go versions in their modules

Interesting to notice that they are bring some functional programming stuff each newer release. The one you mentioned they add a couple of great packages for making transformations. Really good stuff.
