Well, basically you need to understand the parts of a multi-sig wallet.
Seed phrases
Derivation paths
Wallet type (P2SH?)
xpub/zpub
But before you can even get started with all of that, you should understand single signature hardware signers aka hardware wallets. If you know how to use a signer using PBSTs and Sparrow, you've got a good start to learning about multi-sig.
So before I continue, do you currently understand signing devices?
