Many public relays are slow too to be clear, don’t want to selectively throw shade.

I just think people assume that a paid relay means it’s faster when in a lot of cases they are less experienced relay operators running something plug and play on a very small VPS.

Personally, I’m not a fan of people selling services they can’t maintain but it’s early and expectations are low.
