I just got back from korea. Esims are slow unfortunately but silent.link saved me in a pinch. I suggest going to one of the kiosks between exit 7 and 8 (maybe 6-7 i forget) to get a mobile Hotspot. Its a million times faster and u can connect multiple devices. Use mulvad VPN with it.

If you happen to go to the Misa area in Seoul, theres a bunch of restaurants by the river. Go near the lit up bridge and look up. Theres a hookah bar on the 2nd floor. Stop in for amazing custom cocktails and hookah. Tell him youre a bitcoiner and the previous guy recommended you. The international Bitcoin network is strong. Ive been working on orange pilling the owner. You'll see a Cleveland Bitcoin biz card on the bar by the door.

Thanks for the input! I'll grab a couple of GB, just in case and get something more reliable/faster at the airport. Last time, I just swapped sims and it worked great.

Do you remember what the hookah bar is called? I'll check it out if I'm around.

Ahh at first I couldnt remember the name but I found it! They're listed as For Rest Hookah bar on naver but Ive also seen them branded as Forrest hookah bar

Its good to have both the esim and Hotspot. My hotspot battery died while i was out. Luckily I bought an esim from silent.link right before it kicked the can, which saved me being absolutely lost trying to figure out the bus routes. Esim is cheap and you can top up anytime. And lightning payment was the fastest part of the whole process. Its especially great if you can dual sim. Just make sure your phones unlocked from the carrier first (unlike mine 🤦🏻‍♂️). I had to do it all while on the move but I got it up and running pretty quick.
