I did not like the vocals at all. Definitely too hip hoppy for me. The music wasn't great, but it wasn't bad.

Apashe uses different vocalists for different tracks but it's always hip hoppy as you put it.

His modus operandi seems to be that he writes the music and has guest hip hop artists bring their own flavor to the vocals and he tries to rotate them as much as possible to keep things fresh.

He also seems to travel the world to collaborate with vocalists from different countries.

the music usually only has a slight hint of Orchestra to it but in this track he went all out because it was meant to be over the top.

basically Apashe is all about mixing and matching different stuff.

my preference for vocals is that there either should be none ( instrumental ) or it should be beautiful female vocals, or it should be rap / hip hop.

i don't need to hear dudes singing. that shit is gay.

I do love some symphonic metal bands, like Within Temptation, where the lead singer is a woman.

BOOOOMEEEERRRRR ! ! ! !

Something something bootstraps!

Just as I don't announce that I listen to classical music, I most definitely not announce that I could listen to those sings you shared and even enjoy them in small doses. I like 8 bit music also in small doses (it gets repetitive and drives me crazy after a while) and these songs remind me of that.

Oh, Japan... from samurai to anime, you truly are in the dankest timeline.

between you and nostr:npub1acg6thl5psv62405rljzkj8spesceyfz2c32udakc2ak0dmvfeyse9p35c not sure who would win the irony Olympics !

I don't know Mike, but I'm happy to be Olympic. Maybe I can get a medal!

I don't know why I'd participate in the irony event, though.
