When I first went to work for the Air Force as a civilian engineer I met Pat. He was a seasoned lead engineer that was there for about thirty years before me.

Pat would take junior engineers under his wing and have them follow him out into the shop on occasion. There he would give tips and tricks to help onboard us.

Time is one of the best things you can give a new employee when they arrive at a new job.

It is also something thing they will remember forever.
