My barn cat had a mouse he was eating the other day. I took it away from him a few times and he fished it back out so I let him have at it. It was like watching a cat on the Serengeti seeing him eat that. Bones crunching, selecting certain parts. I walked by later & saw nothing but an intestinal tract left behind.
Nature is awesome
Yeah they seem to enjoy eating those rodents. Buster eats the head first, and only the guts are left when he's done.
