It's so well thought and designed that just learning it makes you a better programmer. Rich and the community are thoughtful and pragmatic. It'll always be my favorite language.

Yes, many years ago. It still is my favorite programming language and community but I moved on to work on Bitcoin companies and none or very few use it.
