These kinds of inventions are the reason why it's impossible to predict the future. One breakthrough, and it changes everything. First, it was the steam engine, then the semiconductor, and maybe now this.
By the way, do you have any idea if it is even viable for commercial markets? How difficult is it to produce?
Everything I've read suggests it's cheap and easy/quick to reproduce (although I'm sure further refinement likely). It's too good to be true, but fuck I hope it's true
