Martyrs Claudiu, Castor, Sempronian, and Nicostrat were skilled sculptors in Pannonia, crafting pagan idols under Emperor Diocletian. Witnessing the unwavering faith and miraculous healings by the holy martyrs Simplicius, Symphorian, Castorius, and Nicostratus, they were moved to renounce their idolatry. Refusing to create more idols, they embraced Christianity, distributing their wealth to the poor. Angered by their conversion, Emperor Diocletian ordered their torture and eventual drowning in the river. Their steadfast faith serves as a beacon, illuminating the path to true repentance and devotion.
Lord, may their sacrifice inspire us to boldly proclaim your name.
