No, they are reconcilable. As someone has said "We are saved by faith alone, but faith that saves is never alone."

I would go with Christianity being more a way of life, however, but you have to believe Christ in order to live it, and be empowered by His Spirit. There's a lot of Scripture I could provide to back this up, but I don't want to get into a theological or semantic dispute (and some of this I think is just hair-splitting). I'll just say like Satoshi: if you don't see it, I don't have time to explain it to you... 😅
