Getting wealthy off big Gov is nothing new. Look at the JEDI contract, all the richest men are pigs in a government trough.

If you take his X/WeChat vision at face value then we all know, as is being demonstrated here on nostr, that Bitcoin/Lightning is the only way to build it.

I tend to believe he does want to build that app as it would make him the richest and most powerful person on earth, but the only way he is going to be allowed to do that is shitcoins or fiat, probably CBDCs.

He’s not principled nor stupid enough to do it right and go against the people who made him so rich in the first place.
