I already have a nat gas generator; what I want is to layer ontop of that with a battery stack such that I have deeper redundancy.

The right stack will support multiple charging inputs, so generator vs standard outlet vs solar array.

Until you have enough battery and solar, generators are pretty necessary, IMO.
