It's a whole new paradigm, will take a minute to learn. Your entire system is built from a file called '/etc/nixos/configuration.nix'. To change your configuration or install packages you edit the file and rebuild the system. You can roll back to any previous configuration at any time. You can save the file and rebuild that exact system at any time or share it with others.

It seems pretty interesting and I might play around with it on a virtual machine or something, I decided to go with Fedora.
