I was at Ko Pha-ngan last year which is near Koh Samui. Nice little island area. November can be a little wet still but hopefully the rain won't be bad for you

Have fun, don't know your schedule but if you can get to Khao Sok park it's worth it.

Also if you're a beer drinker you can't go wrong with Leo beer.
