Nice is nice, but I prefer northern Spain, particularly the basque region, which extends into France also.
Bretagne (a bit north from there) is also extremely pretty and a bit less crowded
Bit cooler, but yes.
Also Bretagne is the name of the ferry that takes you there from Portsmouth, which passes our place on the coast regularly.
Nice is bigger City, but Cap ferrat, Eze, Villefranche are amazing!
There's a saying in the Scottish Borders;
London's big, but Biggar's bigger. 😂
