I don't think people understand how important nostr's feature of single sign on and carrying your profile with you is.
People are fed up with passwords. On nostr all you need is one password to a plugin and then you can login to different a sites with different experience and functionality.
I need to upload something from my computer? Boom, login, wait a bit, my entire profile is there.
I want the Instagram experience? Login to nostrgram, boom. It's all there.
Twitter experience? Boom.
I want to blog longform posts? Boom. It's all there, my profile is already loaded, zaps, bio, profile picture, the works.
Pretty soon, we're gonna have the same for video, podcasts, dating, foursquare, yelp, food orders.
We have these closed systems that are shit. Openauth and login with facebook and with twitter and they all suck. When it breaks down, you get stuck unable to login.
Open protocols always win over closed systems, I believe that.
Nostr is gonna win over the user.
