I don't care, for one fuck the government, 2 why do they have telegram on their government phone anyway? That's the second time you've linked that. Why DO I care what Montana is doing to their public employees and how does it affect me.

And BTW, Telegram is not Chinese. It was founded by 2 Russians, and it's headquarters are in Dubai. Does that make me a communist for using it for generally uncensored closed communities? Are they going to steal my gifs and recipes, or some publicly posted photos?

No even your article says the concern with Telegram was Russia, and they were the exception because their main focus in the ban was China.

Right, and they don't care who they sell data too either.

My point is, the media and government are waging a war of opinions against companies that compete with ours, accusing them of doing exactly what we are doing.

I get that! I just always advice everybody never put anything online you're afraid will be seen. Nothing is certain or totally secure, and things on the internet are forever. On any platform!

Yes, I completely agree. While I think telegram is good for groups and stuff, I wouldn’t be posting personal info, the US gov has been accused too of trying to spy on telegram members
