I feel like this is a problem I should rectify. What did you use?
i put a cast iron tortilla press in a large cast iron skillet. the cast iron in the press didnt seem robust enough to handle direct burner heat.
heat it up, light butter on the surfaces of the press, throw a dough ball in there…

It was my understnding that the press isn't where you cook them. Press them throw them super thin on hot surface for a flash.
