He's not full of shit. He has some good points that are or need to be tackled as well as some fringe perspectives.

But more than that he's in the process of understanding and getting knowledgeable about Monero which is a prerequisite to become a follower of Monero like so many Bitcoiners before him.

It's a path. And many went down the same path. Most didn't give up on Bitcoin but their passion now is driven by the cypherpunk ideals that live in the radicality of Monero.
