Bugs in the distance must be licking their chops. Patience lads, soon we shall invade and feast! Having mine in random large pots may have helped avoid most pest problems for me, or just luck, but I gather they're among most appetizing for bugs.

Rabbits are my main use here. We plant sweet alyssum which attracts wasps that eat most of the grubs
