I accept Saylor as a net positive influence for Bitcoin.

As soon as his selfishness outweighs his positive contribution to Bitcoin I’ll put him on the #BBTG guillotine list.

He’s here at the whim of #Bitcoiners IMO.

MSTR’s 210k coins don’t secure themselves.

just is fake bitcoiner - pumper for his own fiat benefit only

Not a “fake Bitcoiner”.

He’s a BitcoinBug: nostr:note144au605mp6kvgsknnvuxk7stl0yyx0mrjzqhphj2ug94tusgaapsq46a9m

We need to differentiate between Bitcoiners and BitcoinBugs who are only in it for NGU for themselves

not 2 me at least - only barking slogan propaganda no real contribution

He’s definitely not running a Bitcoin Development Company as he claims MSTR is.

wallst catalyst centralization pimp - thats all

My thoughts on this is looking at the forum. He’s on CNBC. These viewers don’t care about it beyond it being an asset to invest in.

I wouldn’t say medium of exchange is a distraction and maybe that the FUD around Bitcoin because you can’t spend it at the store is a distraction.

Also Saylor lives and breathes in the fiat world. This is just what he cares about.

Overall we shouldn’t look to Saylor or ANY ONE PERSON to push the future we want to see of Bitcoin going beyond “digital gold”.

I also agree we shouldn’t LARP around like Saylor cares about medium of exchange anytime soon.

You missed my point.

I’m making a list, and I’m checking it twice, and Im gonna put people who need to face the guillotine on there based on Bitcoins naughty and nice.

Not playing anymore.

Saylor can pull for Bitcoin or he can pull for Saylor. His choice. His choice determines which list he’s on.

Fair enough. I was just giving my take on why he was doing what he was doing. In no way defending it.

I am also with Odell in terms of this guy not supporting development in the space as well.

Good for you listening to a Bitcoin influencoor!

I don’t need Odell to point out obvious shit to me 😊

I think you’re making a lot of assumptions of me. Yes, I read and listen to things. No, I don’t blindly agree because someone’s an “influencoor”.

Want to ease up a bit or am I next on the guillotine?

I think it’s normal. It’s like during the gold standard time: why spend gold if people give you gold for silver? If someone has plenty of BTC, let’s say some hundreds and think to spend some, that’s good. Saylor sees BTC as his emergency boat. His company was going downwards and he found a lottery ticket. The OG bitcoiners , those who didn’t even bought it, just mined, they have a different mindset.

Saylor actually is being quite a gravitational distortion on bitcoin, screwing up and pricing out a lot of people. Because of him and his proof of concept, now we have REALLY big money coming and taking everything, using freshly printed money, handed out by Biden. Obviously the last cycle we’ve had the crypto casinos attacking bitcoin valuation. And a lot of those crypto bros were paid to buy bitcoin but they scammed everyone. Therefore the price in the last cycle didn’t reach the expectations, I think.

Now we have less focus on those embezzlers and more in BITCOIN itself. But now the middle class is priced out forever of a whole coin, unless they can restructure a mortgage.

I really don’t know.

Saylor claims MSTR is becoming a Bitcoin Development Company.

What evidence do you have of this?

lol 🤡

For how long now? 4 years? No product until now. Let’s see... I think the name of his game is over leveraging and borrowing shit to buy top asset. It’s basically a speculative attack. What’s going to happen to the USD if every big cat uses his playbook? But, is he wrong? Absolutely not.

Saylor's a spook.

I’m not gonna argue that point.

Spooks can have more positive impact than negative, wittingly or unwittingly. They’re nowhere near as brilliant as they seem to think they are.

Reasonable stance.

I would say: like we say : look at actions not words.

In the case of politicians, nice words, bas actions.

In his case, for now, bad words, good actions.

We'll see what it ends up being, in time.

BBTG?

Bitcoin doesn't need altruism, it was designed to operate with selfish actors.

Those that have tied their future to Bitcoin are also incentivised to support it.

Portraying himself as someone acting in the best interests of others would have been a red flag for me.

I've never heard Saylor ever purport to being altruistic. He wants to leave a legacy & likes things of beauty.

His incentives are aligned with Bitcoin's & mine. I'm grateful that he's aligned with freedom money.
