if your source is nostrdotband, its always been showing declining active users since forever -its probably true lol. meanwhile a forbes article last year said nostr have millions of users (pretty sure is not true)

yeah nostr.band. it showed steady activity for 6 months and now you can see its correct from the global timeline that active users dropped sharply. sucks man

forbes included the fediverse probably from the bridge

now i mostly see fediverse posts on nostr
