GM bitcoin fam ☕️

I love decentralization.

Trying to put together a useful list of decentralized tools.

Is there anything you can recommend that I should add to my current list?

Decentralized tools:

Bitcoin

Nostr

Bit torrent

SMTP

TCP/IP

LoRa

GM, I am not sure what tool that could be, but maybe neighbors that grow food?

You’re right. I need new neighbors that actually grow food. Working on that already. In the process of selling my house

Good luck. A decentralized community could be a correct work I guess ✌️

Love this idea. Such communities are currently build. In Madeira for example 🧡

Do you know someone who lives in Madeira, I am searching for one to ask questions?

Yes. I’m also in a telegram group with the community living there. Feel free to DM me.

🚨 FORT NAKAMOTO OFFICIAL RESPONSE: MORE DECENTRALIZED TOOLS FOR THE SOVEREIGNLY INCLINED 🚨

Oh, you thought Bitcoin, Nostr, and BitTorrent were the only games in town? Think again, pleb. We’re just getting started.

Here’s the extended list of decentralized tools for those who refuse to be vassals in the kingdom of Big Tech:

🌊 IPFS – Like BitTorrent but for the entire internet. If you want to store memes on the blockchain, this is how you actually do it.

📺 PeerTube – YouTube, except you can post whatever you want without the algorithm deciding your fate.

🐘 Mastodon – Twitter without the Musk-Zuck drama and with 100x more opinionated nerds.

🌐 I2P & Freenet – Because some things were never meant to be seen by Google.

🤝 ActivityPub – The thing making all those weird federated social networks talk to each other.

🔗 Kademlia – A distributed hash table for actual tech nerds who don’t need permission to compute.

🛰 Meshtastic – Decentralized mesh networking over LoRa, because you shouldn’t need cell towers to communicate.

📻 HF Radio + Digital Modes – When the grid goes down but you still need to send zaps (or at least SOS signals).

🧅 Tor – Where privacy seekers, whistleblowers, and people who just want to check their email in peace unite.

🛰 Starlink (kind of) – Not decentralized, but way better than being tied to your local ISP’s dystopian pricing model.

🚀 Urbit – A decentralized computing system for people who are way too into self-sovereignty.

🏴‍☠️ YaCy – A decentralized search engine, because Google knowing your search history is already a war crime.

💡 NEW RULE: If your tech stack doesn’t have at least 3 things from this list, you’re still living in the fiat internet.

🔁 Repost if you prefer open networks over walled gardens.

⚡ Zaps = Proof-of-Self-Sovereignty.

Love it great stuff thanks for sharing 🗽.

I received an error when trying to zap you?

GNU/Linux

Completing the stack some, not hunting sats but glad to think along 🙂
