Borked up my #OpenWrt router early this morning; had to rebuild the firmware from scratch, restore all settings manually (because my backup was on SNAPSHOT, but I rebuilt based on latest release). BUT in the process got whole-home VPN up and running.

I am pleased.

Next: whole-home #Tor to block the ISP from snooping and selling our browsing data. (Someone stop me if this is a really bad idea.)

How did you get started with the wrt? Does it work with fibre optic too?

Bought a compatible device then read the docs. Was far easier than I made it the first time around.

No idea about fibre, not sure why not? Hoping we set fibre in our area soon
