How do these things work and are determined on #nostr?

This photo was hidden because some people may find it offensive. Who determined this? (AI?, users?). What does it resemble that someone may consider it offensive? Why is it offensive to some?

Which app?

On Amethyst mobile.

nostr:npub19aftr8lpgz8knmswjz0d3l9vzwx97dcvqh0zfuxcxu9d57t4yv3sz4v28l you can set the content warning manually in Amethyst for sensitive content.

The author marketed it as such

Ok... I just asked the author. Would love to know and confirm how this functions here.

How do you know? Are you able to see it somewhere?

which photo? I don#t see anything but your text. Which app?

I forgot to upload before I post and ended up editing the note to add the pic but it doesn't seem to be visible for you... So here it is again...

I think they set the content warning I. It as a joke for the food being too sexy. That's how I read the joke anyway.

But yeah, you can do that on some apps, amethyst, coracle. Probably loads more.

Ok that's funny! I am known to be slow with certain types of humour πŸ˜…

Lol. It's also possible it was a mistake. I've accidentally pressed the bottome bar options on amethyst before ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ah yeah.... Ok... I see where it is... πŸ‘‡πŸ»

That's it, for warning the note. For a single picture you have to check it before uploading

It's fine i'm slow sometimes too πŸ˜… but yes that's me who set the explicit warning. I'm using Amethyst, i can set it only for a picture or for a complete note.

Now I am laughing... πŸ˜‚

Exactly! For the #foodporn

You set the warning on a note

Ok. Thank you, for clarifying. πŸ™

Some apps allow the author to set a content warning. Some hashtags may also lead to the warning.

Unfortunately not all popular apps support it yet and the behaviour varies.

There are also user reports for offensive content. But I am not sure if / how they are used by apps.
