How often has Texas threatened to secede from the Union?

Not often enough. 😎

Said this would happen a while ago.

Keep hope alive.

That moment when y'all realize that nostr:npub1m4ny6hjqzepn4rxknuq94c2gpqzr29ufkkw7ttcxyak7v43n6vvsajc2jl is from Texas and her whole persona suddenly makes sense.

I‘m reading a history book about Switzerland. One theory for the country‘s cohesion is the inner fights for autonomy. Especially religiously.

I've already picked out the states I'd like to secede and become a new republic.

Montana, Idaho, North & South Dakota, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, & Texas. That would make a darned good nation. It would be liberty friendly and produce plenty of food, energy, and even Tech. Texas has ports that make trade easier.

Trade with mexico would be of utmost importance, the gulf an important bridge to the rest of the world, especially if coastal states end up as shit holes and/or are bad business

I can also see eastern WA + OR joining

Just be sure to have access to ocean or waterways.
