Saint Lupos was a servant of Saint Demetrios of Thessaloniki. After Demetrios' martyrdom, Lupos soaked his master's ring and robe in Demetrios' blood, and with these, he performed many miracles, healing the sick and casting out demons. He destroyed pagan idols, earning the Emperor Maximian's ire, who ordered his arrest. When Lupos was brought before the Emperor, he openly confessed his faith in Christ, proclaiming Him the one true God. Enraged, Maximian ordered Lupos to be beaten, but miraculously, Lupos felt no pain. After further refusal to deny Christ, Lupos was beheaded, thus receiving the crown of martyrdom.

O holy #Martyr Lupos, intercede with Christ #God that our souls may be saved. #Saints #OrthodoxChristian #Prayer
