Question for my Nostr friends.

I live in a border town (Ontario/Minnesota) and I'm looking for a method to convert BTC to USD while my family and I are there.

I am sure there's a way to do this so that I can largely avoid conversion fees at the Canadian bank.

Does anyone have a USD off-ramp that they use on occasion?

I feel like between VPN's, USD bank accounts and some kind of off ramp I could skip the fees at the bank and just convert BTC to USD while I'm in America.

Anybody have any ideas?

thi sis challenge keep explaining/awareness - if not need to OFF-RAMP - it means bitcoin #adoption is very poor in the region. direct usage is deterred - hence price going 2moon mean nothing unless HODL can USE / SPEND easily without HURDLES / HIGHFEES / TAXES

Bitrefill

coinstar kiosk walmart checkout maybe

Maybe try in person exchanges or try seeing if you can open a bank account in the states directly. Also not sure if Bitcoin ATMs will sell as well or not. Just be careful of laws especially after posting publicly.

I'm trying to do it legit, I just don't want to get fleeced by bank fees. We're looking into USD bank accounts at the moment.
