Sounds like a great idea. Subject to the amount of work produced? Ratio to input?

Ratio to production I guess. I’ve been working in a lumber mill. I’m getting paid $23 doing $28-30 work. I shouldn’t be paid base rate considering that after 6 months, production went up considerably compared to repeatedly training temps for my position.

It should be an automated system that adjusts your pay dynamically based on performance but doesn’t go below base rate. I guess it could be similar to how restaurants do tip pooling.

Dude, that's like the definition of a salary. For exanple if it was a ratio between dollars earned and hours worked then it would be a "wage" not a salary.
