FWIW, I'm much more worried about fascism and climate change than I am about undocumented immigrants and trans kids!

Well, yeah, you aren't a kid. Why would you care about the possibility of one child or another being manipulated into making a mistake with their body? Plus, you can always just close the door on immigrants if they come to you needing something, so they aren't your problem either.
