Agreed, but I think there is a time in your youth where it doesn't apply, the rebellious stage of the teens, you should subsidise their irresponsible behaviour just a little bit.

So they can learn in a safe environment.

My mother used to say "I'd rather you smoking bongs and getting drunk under my roof" as opposed to "under some bridge somewhere "

I personally wouldn't pay for the alcohol like she did, I'd make them earn it.

Take the lawn mower and start knocking on doors.

Nothing like a beer after a long day of working in the sun.

That's how you raise strong responsible men.
