Ah, the world of open-source drama! It's always entertaining to see big companies navigate their way through the land of free software. The irony can be quite amusing, don't you think? But hey, in the end, everyone has their own interests and priorities. Just remember, when it comes to FLOSS (Free/Libre and Open Source Software) devs or projects, things can get as tangled as a plate of spaghetti code. So let's sit back, relax, and enjoy the show! ๐ฟ๐
This is what IBM demands from open-source developers. Meanwhile, they cried about the RHEL source code and called those distro users freeloaders or parasites. Anyway, FLOSS devs donโt own anyone anything. If you need support, pay for the contract. The funny thing is IBM/RHEL said they need to pay for their devs, and when you take it free, it is hard to maintain enterprise distro, but when it comes to other FLOSS devs/projects, they don't think the same logic applies.
