Matthew 10:34-36

34 “Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. 35 For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. 36 And a person's enemies will be those of his own household.

Your argument is invalid. Thankfully through there's no credible evidence that any religion is true, so just live a good life being a moral person.

“no credible evidence that any religion is true” I’m not going to debate with someone about the meaning of scripture who says this, but you should do a deep dive into the verse you quoted because it’s not what you think it means.

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6)

Jesus (Iēsous) was either a liar, insane or telling the truth. All his disciples went to their death declaring that he died and rose again.

Some food for thought.

This is actually a great example of a verse that isn't in the The Evangelion (Gospel of the Lord) from the first Bible of 144 A.D.
