Block them, then you won't see them

I use Amethyst. As you add friends, and as those friends post reports for spam/offensive content, Amethyst will automatically hide and warn you more consistently about content your circle of friends considers "bad". Also, you can connect to relays that filter spam automatically. Some relays you can pay for a more curated experience.
