My note signifies that the American gentleman's abrasive yet forthright advice aided me to spring forth from the mattress, for which I am most grateful because I was, indeed, in a state of deep slumber despite the presence of several bothersome daily tasks whichawaited me.

This note was neither cryptic nor worthy of individual telegram, madam. The American gentleman would have been most perplexed to receive such a message.

I will concede that one should always employ a trustworthy editor before publication, but alas, this is Nostr, where literary foul ups live forever in the cogs of the printing press.

Furthermore, this note was certainly not written in jest. Nay. I merely anticipated the titter of readers encountering such wit and badinage. After all, the gentleman's reputation as a humourous yet abrasive fellow proceeds him.

What I did not expect was your classroom dunce level understanding and baffling response to my note... yet here we stand.
