I think we need really simple ways of groups / forums so folks could use nostr, but not need to know they’re using nostr. They start with the simple needs, i want to talk about being an immigrant from the US to NZ… then as they use it, they discover that the group can do live streams, or a marketplace, or events calendar for meetups, or their own feed of social media posts, or videos like Olas…

i wonder if we're getting close here with Chachi or Flotilla. it's not forums, but it's like Discord or Telegram.

Yeah those work. But the thing is when folks join one of these we bury them in information about Nostr. We need a gradual on ramp where they don’t need to know the app they’re using is different.

I *believe* you can't use flotilla without sats, which adds a further obstacle if you're speaking to people on zero sats.

We need onboarding. That's the largest hurdle.
