General feature request: copying URLs of media should be dead-easy in all clients. I don't want to download media and re-host it all the time. It should be trivial to re-post and hotlink stuff as you see fit.
People did it on twitter for videos all the time. It was even a hidden feature of sorts. We could even find out the "original" post and do #zap splits if URLs are re-used.

This is why web is better, you don't have to re-invent text selection, media sharing, scrolling, etc. I've never done mobile development, but it sounds like a chore.
As an ex iOS dev I can confirm that many a thing that you usually take for granted is a chore.

I would like to see this also for GIFs and Memes..
Imagine being able to select and choose a Gif while writing a note from any clients, maybe could be done at least selecting them from the nostr.build Creators Galleries.. that's my dream πππβ―οΈ
If you "copy text" the note it copies all of it incuding the media URL, then you just have to erase the rest after pasting. I've used this trick many times.
I think I'm starting to fall in love with her....
