It's still so early in the weekend, but it's nice to see that there's still competition for the top spot. Hopefully we'll get one more good season before the regulation changes.
As long as McLaren have the fastest car it will be fine. And with Alonso's luck we're clear of a Newey rocketship.
I just can't help but wonder if MCL will implode on itself. I don't think Norris has the fortitude to "the" guy in F1. He still makes too many unforced mistakes. Piastri is still a wildcard to me. His success could go either way, but I'm not seeing the drive from him yet.
I feel like Piastri is laying low for now, but he could step up to the occasion.
Norris want to win a certain way, and he can't manifest like Lewis or force it to happen like Max. Everyone runs over him. Russel, Leclerc, Piastri when he wants to, probably even Kimi and Lawson if he gets his act together.
